The Golden Route - "Den Gyldne Omvei" - in the heart of Trøndelag is an interesting stretch defined by 20 small businesses and sights. Here you will find an art gallery, a small sculpture park, ceramic studios, crafts, farm products based on local recepies, accommodation, and a wide range of activities.

Tom Fowler, together with a group of British veterans from the Second World War, attended a ceremony at the farm Krogs in Inderøy municipality May 18, 2010. The veterans paid respect to their fallen fellow soldiers with flowers.
